Sigh. Every time I hear that Fox is creating a new reality show, the left side of my body starts to twitch. A couple of years ago, Food Network or A & E or some other socially-relevant cable TV channel had a wonderful show called Cooking School (or something like that), which followed a group of people through their experiences at the Culinary Institute of America. It was a great show, but I don’t think even reruns of it are airing anymore.

Why do I have this odd feeling that, in spite of the legitimacy of Gordon Ramsay, this show will be more about what’s cooking in the aspiring chefs’ lovelives and less about how to create the perfect buerre blanc?

Although, how perfect would it be if Rocco DiSpirito showed up? The story does say “experienced or not.”
