Invariably, when I post something like this I get a comment from someone who says, “At least it’s not 21 degrees where you are…” or, “That’s not cold!” I understand this. I lived in Wisconsin as a child.
For me though, a high of 41 degrees is cold.

I agree, cold!

No one at works seems to understand me, but I am **so** grateful for the remote starter that the wife got me for Christmas last year. There’s no way I want to go outside and sit in a cold truck.
And yes, 41 (or 26!!!) is cold, snow or not.

I understand! I’m desperately waiting for the cold and snow to come here. I love snow and we just don’t get enough of it where I live.

Would you be cranky if I told you that I leave tomorrow for Maui? I WILL think of you…

But it IS cold. It’s all relative to what you are currently acclimated to.

Wintry mix!? When did that happen? My hubby has chosen this weekend to replace the fence in the backyard! I told him in July to wait until the fall when the weather would be better. Oops.

THat is cold and like Sheri said, it’s all relative. What I find really difficult with your weather is going from 74 to 41 in less than 24 hours — for most of us, it’s a more gradual (and easier) change. I used to get sick in Texas all the time because of it.
