WordPress 2.3 is coming Monday…

If we’re lucky, WP 2.3 will have a touch screen, will allow us to manage our music with something other than iTunes, and will be cheaper than $399.

Speaking of the iPhone, after unsuccessfully requesting my $100 Apple Store “early sucker adopter” credit, I had to drive over to the Apple Store at Willow Bend this week. I worked with a really nice manager named David Brown, who helped me with purchasing AppleCare for my MacBookPro (education discount, to boot) and then gave me the $100 credit at the store.

And in other news, my ops management class begins today. It’s small - only about 15 people, for which I am incredibly grateful. My marketing class has about 30 people in it, and you haven’t experienced true insanity until you’ve waded through 100+ threaded discussion messages on how the Segway could be marketed in a business-to-business sense internationally.

I also took my first marketing quiz yesterday, on six chapters our of our text and three chapters out of our supplementary text. We were also quizzed on specifics from the syllabus, which tested our knowledge on the seriousness of plagiarism. Seriously.

Not a whole lot going on around here this weekend. I cleaned the house yesterday, CU is doing his Saturday yard work thing…I think he has some work he needs to do, so I’ll probably finish up Part II of my marketing quiz (an essay) and then…who knows? We might go check out the Plano Balloon Festival later, since we were treated to a pre-show this morning on our way back from Starbucks.

What’s up with all of you this weekend?
