My Head Hurts

Industry analysis due Saturday…team member submitted plagiarized work to add to our group doc…slowly losing my mind…good times.

Oh, I taped Kid Nation and watched the first ten minutes of Private Practice last night, then we watched Chuck from Monday night.

I heard tonight’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy was hilariouslyfantasticallyawesome. I can’t wait.

Pushing Daisies was wonderful, but a little…dark…for early prime time, dontcha think?

I liked Pushing Daisies but was a big fan of Dead Like Me on Showtime. I was bummed when it did not come back for a third season. And then when they cancelled Huff after two seasons, I decided to never again watch a series on Showtime and haven’t. :)

I really liked Pushing Daisies as well, and like Amy, I was a huge fan of Dead Like Me, so it’s a darker/quirkier sense of humor. I could definitely see director Barry Sonnenfeld’s touches all over the pilot (he did Addams Family, Men in Black).

Oh Amy…you’re not even watching Weeds?

We thought Pushing Daisies also had some Beetlejuice-meets-Ugly Betty in terms of the style.

Nope, no Weeds for me. I thought about it but decided to continue my one person boycott of Showtime series.

Dictionary of Corporate Bullshit Word of the Day

gap analysis: An official assessment of how something got screwed up; also functions as a form of penance for those who have screwed up, who will ensure their commitment to a thorough gap analysis to account for their commitment to a thorough gap analysis to account for their sins, though probably they are hoping some other crisis will make everyone forget they're supposed to be doing one.
