Well, we received 125 out of a possible 125 points on our industry analysis.

Allow me to share some insights from the glowing review our Marketing professor provided…

The Industry Analysis is perhaps the largest single deliverable in this course, next to the quizzes and final exam. It requires an extensive literature search, creativity, depth and breadth of analysis to earn a top score. The Industry Analysis is worth up to 125 points (12.5 percent of your overall course grade). I have evaluated it in terms of quality (of both content and format), insight (application of concepts and practices discussed in the course materials) and completeness (responsiveness to the issues raised in the detailed assignment).

First of all, let me say that I really enjoyed your topic. Not only as a pet owner myself, but from the perspective of providing the class with a look at how marketing can be applied in a fairly unique setting. This industry has never been addressed in this assignment before. You did an excellent job of selecting an industry and in then selecting a very specific aspect of it (from a donor perspective) to focus on.

In terms of quality, your format is above reproach. The paper is well organized, the headings do a good job in directing the reader through the material and the paper is presented in a very professional business manner (no problems with spelling, grammar, etc.). Quality also deals with content and once again, I credit your focus for the clear and concise picture of this industry that you present.

As far as insights, marketing concepts and practices are correctly identified and illustrated throughout. Finally, your deliverable was completely responsive to the assignment.

What can I say but congratulations? Each member of your team has received full credit for this assignment.

Holy crap. And oh by the way…troublemaking castaway…you’re welcome…enjoy the A+ the rest of the team provided.
