Friday’s Feast #171
Mmm…tasty!
Appetizer
What was the last game you purchased?
Oh geez…I think it was the Millenium edition of Monopoly…back in 1999. Obviously, we’re not big game people.
Soup
Name something in which you don’t believe.
I don’t believe in the idea that people are always rewarded for hard work and innovative thoughts - sometimes, those things wind up being bigger liabilities than assets.
Salad
If you could choose a celebrity to be your boss, who would you pick?
Tom Hanks. I hear he’s fabulous to work for - tough, but he knows his business.
Main Course
What was a lesson you had to learn the hard way?
You can’t make people love you if they don’t - no matter how hard you try.
Dessert
Describe your idea of the perfect relaxation room.
This place…the open window on the other side faced the ocean, and the afternoon sun streams in and warms the room. Add some soothing “spa” music and a little aromatherapy…utter perfection.

Hi,
I was thinking about your main course, and how I believe we all realize this at one point or another in our lives and what a painful lesson to learn. I hope you haven’t had to experience that too much. Have a relaxing weekend.

A friend of mine does security in Hollywood and he said Tom Hanks is a nice guy, but twitchy (he never really looks at you, is always scanning around himself).
I think the only people that reward hard workers and innovators are those that have those attributes. There are too many dumb and lazy asses that are threatened by people that are better than they are.

Your main course is so true. No matter how hard we try. Love the cabana. I could do that too. Have a great FF and weekend.

Sounds like the majority of us doing the Feast today want a good massage
You’re right about hard work and no reward - especially if your a woman in a man’s world.
