When was the last time you received a surprise in the mail, and what was it?

We received a cake in the mail last year…and had a doozy of a time figuring out who sent it. Turns out, it was CU’s uncle. Speaking of the cake, we’ve had it in the freezer since we received it and finally thawed it last night. Oh my God…it was good.

This is sort of sad because since I’ve been virtual office-ing, I don’t have as many “nice” clothes as I used to. But, I have a pretty great silk off-the-shoulder tunic-type top I bought for New Year’s Eve this year. Well, the store bills it as a “top” but on me, it was a tunic.

If you could forget one whole day from your life, which day would you choose to wipe from your memory?

October 6, 2005 - the day CU left to go back to Iraq after his two-week leave. I wouldn’t see him again for seven months, so that was a pretty rough day.
