WordCamp Dallas is coming to, well, Frisco at the end of March. No one would come if it was called WordCamp Frisco.
Event Details
Mark your calendars and plan on being in Frisco, Texas on March 29th & 30th for the largest gathering of WordPress bloggers, podcasters, designers, programmers and aficionados that Big D has ever seen.
For the uninitiated, WordCamp is an informal gathering of WordPress users where we teach, learn, eat, drink and generally have fun with one another. There have been dozens of other WordCamps all over the world, and now it’s time for the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area to have their own. But, believe me, there will likely be attendees from all over Texas… the Southwest… heck, the world!
Our WordCamp will be hosted by the wonderful city of Frisco in their fantastic, state-of-the-art city council chamber complete with cushioned, theater-style seating, plenty of power connections, WiFi, and A/V systems. We’ll also be providing coffee and munchies both mornings, lunch both days and t-shirts to take home (or to wear one or both days!)
Enough outlets and WiFi for 300 people to live blog for two days…outstanding! I was thinking about going, but I have finals that next week - although $20 for the shirt is enticing.

Sounds good. Pity it’s on the other side of the world to me.
Pleeeease? Pleeease come!
Seriously, we’d love you have you there, but school’s ultimately more important. We might have extra shirts when it’s all said and done. We might even offer them for sale after the event.
onoz, i just e-mailed you about this! boo for finals being on the same weekend! maybe you could come just one of the days.
