Today’s Dictionary of Corporate Bullshit Word ‘o the Day…
Bschool:
Business school; ground zero for the hatching and learning of vast amounts of corporate bullshit, which is then used to identify fellow Bschool attendees and make those who aren’t feel stupid or just confused; actually a very long, expensive cocktail party where people go to make connections and buy the right to say, “At Stanford/Wharton/Princeton/Harvard…”
When I graduate, I am so going to do that: “At Stanford/Wharton/Princeton/Harvard, I analyzed the advantages and challenges of qualitative versus quantitative research designs, ultimately determining the coding and interpretation cost varies with the interview method.”
Seriously - I’m going to drop the names of all four schools while reading the notes from my online mini-lecture. That’ll impress everyone.
One Response for "Hey, No One Said Anything To Me About Cocktails!"
Also used as a leg up when compared to colleagues that didn’t go to Bschool (my employer has actually called it out as an attribute compared to the others in my role).
